Paul Wylie is a mortgage and real estate industry entrepreneur, consultant, and author with more than 25 years of experience. Paul founded Metrocities Mortgage in 1989, a “top 50” lender that grew from six employees and $125 million in annual loan production to 1400 employees and over $10 billion in loan production across the United States by 2005. His vision and leadership guided Metrocities Mortgage to become the America’s largest provider of mortgage joint ventures to the real estate industry. A longtime advocate of minority homeownership, Paul formed the MetroAmerica division of Metrocities Mortgage in 1998 to serve the Latino and African-American communities. Paul has been a member of Fannie Mae’s National Mortgage Banking Advisory Council and was selected as the only mortgage banker among 2007’s “Top 25 Bankers in the San Fernando Valley, California” an award given once every four years. He has been an expert panelist for university seminars and numerous radio, television and Web programs. Paul is a California real estate broker, a California Department of Corporations-approved escrow manager, and a HUD direct endorsement underwriter. |

Jason Karpf is a communications executive and published author with extensive experience in the lending and real estate industries. His achievements include co-managing media relations for the Santa Barbara County District Attorney’s Office during the 2004-2005 Michael Jackson criminal trial, receiving an Award of Excellence from PRSA’s Los Angeles chapter for this work. Jason served as Assistant Vice President, Marketing Communications, for Metrocities Mortgage, a “top 50” lender. Prior to his marketing and public relations career, Jason was an award-winning real estate agent and real estate trainer.
